One more method : ;) [fun intended, don't follow it in actual or practice tests :)]

We can go from R1 till R10000 ( R1 , R2, R3, R4, R5.....etc). Then do some serious mathematical tricks , bring value of pie ( upto 13 decimals), mix them with two or more irrational numbers

and then,

find the relation between R5, R6 and R7. Yep! that can be done! :) :twisted: :lol: :mrgreen: :shock: :!: :idea:

over my head, why this if your first explanation is already ok, even in that explanation, I really didn't get how you added and figured out the conclusion in the last steps.

One more method :

We can go from R1 till R10000 ( R1 , R2, R3, R4, R5.....etc). Then do some serious mathematical tricks , bring value of pie ( upto 13 decimals), mix them with two or more irrational numbers

and then,

find the relation between R5, R6 and R7. Yep! that can be done!

in this post, there was some fun intended. will edit it so that it doesn't confuse anyone.

I posted it because, there was a post somewhere which calculated r1,r2,r3,r4,r5,r6 and r7 to derive a relation between three of these variables. Anyway, please accept my apologies if you are confused!

As far as the first method is concerned,

put n=5 which gives an equation in r5 and r6 (subtraction)
put n=6, which gives an equation in r6 and r7 (subtraction)

add these two, you an equation in r7 and r5 (subtraction).

we can compare r5,r6,r7 by looking at the sign of RHS of the equation. Hope it is clearer now :)

FUN!! YOU!!! What would I do here then? The method you pointed out as the reason for your fun making has a bit long but sure enough logic behind it, time is not a very big constraint for those who hardly need pen/paper for certain easy going computations and deductions. Nonetheless...

It's alright ajith. The decimal-conversion of certain easy-looking fractions could raise some brows here, but it's not missing a logic, I can bet.
