Hi ,
I'm new to this forum. I have graduated recently from mumbai in advertising and intend to take the test by mid June sometime.i have the OG 12 and 13 as well as the 2 verbal and quant workbooks. The manhattan sentence correction guide is also a part of my study material. Do I require any more study material. I amigo score a 700 at least.i would love some advice on a study plan to accomplish the same. Also having studied advertising quat is it o e of my strengths. It would be great if someone could guide me with a study plan and which books to use and refer to.

Thanks

Hello, DishaJain. It sounds like you are off to a great start with your studying. One thing you may want to do is take a practice exam so you can get an idea of where you are scoring now. Knowing your strengths and weaknesses will help you for formulate a study strategy. You can download GMATPrep, the free GMAT study software from the makers of the exam, here: https://www.mba.com/store/product-info.a ... ID=80.0042.

As for looking for a broader study strategy, while there is no one plan that works for everybody or that can guarantee you a specific score, you may want to look at this blog post by our research team. They looked at the study strategies of students who scored well on the GMAT exam: https://officialgmat.mba.com/2012/04/19/ ... mat-score/.

And finally, I suggest you repost your question in one of the main forum threads. This thread is to ask questions to GMAC, the makers of the GMAT exam, which is a great place to start. But you may benefit from hearing advice from other students and GMAT tutors as well. In that case, I suggest you repost your question to the general GMAT study strategy board.

Good luck!

Hi Disha,

You need to do online practice along with the studying through books. You can avail THE PRINCETON REVIEW online program and take 10 online tests and also do drills of various topics for Verbal as well as Math. There is also a Self Study program in which you can get the study material (verbal & math books) along with the access to the online material.

You can log on to www.manyagroup.com to get more information.
