I have 12 days to the real thing and I would like any pointers on how I can improve my quant score. I have consistently been getting a raw score of 44-46 on quant and anywhere from 12-14 questions wrong. I am trying to focus my preparation for the next 12 days on areas that I can get the most bang for my buck. In verbal, I have my work cut out for me with Sentence Corrections.
In quant, I am unable to pin point to any specific areas but my overall weakness is timing. I am making silly mistakes due to rushing through questions and almost always I don't get past question 34. When I work through the OG questions, I am able to complete a set of questions under the time (under 2 mins/question). When I work on OG problems I try to pick problems in multiples of 5 such that I get a variety of easy, medium and difficult questions.
I am thinking about purchasing GMAT Focus to get a more in-depth analysis. Is it worth it?
I have at my disposal MGMAT exams, GMAT Prep exams, OG, GMAT Quant Review and BTG questions. What would be the best strategy to increase my timing and accuracy on the real thing?
Thanks! I have an Engineering background and would have expected to be much stronger in Quant. I am at about the same level for both Quant and Verbal now.
