Hello,
I had a disappointing MBA test today with a 590 score. I have under graduate B.S. 3.5 GPA and work experience of 11 years(2 in India and rest in the US). I can get good professional references from my managers. However, because of my low GMAT score,I am not sure if I should even apply for Part-time MBA at NYU Stern-Langone? or re-take GMAT for a better score?.Any suggestions/advice would be appreciated.

Thanks
Balaji

Hi balyuv,

Have you considered taking the GMAT again? Remember that your highest GMAT score is self-reported on your application, so admissions teams will focus on your best score. There is no harm in taking the test again.

If you decide to, here is some GMAT advice: https://www.stacyblackman.com/gmat-overview/

Hi Stacey
Thanks for your response.

Other than improving the GMAT score, is there any possibility
Of admission at nyu langone.
Would 11 yrs experience help make up for the low score?
Is it worth applying with the current score?
