Hi,
I am an international student that recently enrolled into master of banking and finance at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.
However I have an offer from Melbourne Business School for their master of management (finance) and I'm thinking of leaving Monash for MBS. I have to sit the GMAT and score 600 though.
I want to break into investment banking after graduation.
Which university would make me best off? considering:
1) I am international and might leave Oz upon graduation
2) international recognition when applying for jobs overseas
3) campus recruiting by banks etc
4) value for money (paying same amount at both unis)
In short , would it be worth leaving Monash, prepare for the GMAT for 3 months, and enroll into Melbourne university instead?
Would it be worth the time and effort sacrificing one semester at Monash for doing it?
