A. 999^12 = a little less than (1000)^12 = 10^36
B. 10^30 < A
C. 777^10 < 999^12
D. (-20)^24 = 400^12 < 999^12
E. (15^0.5)^40 = approx 4^40 = approx 256^10 < 999^12
