Seema Kumar

A 2004 Harvard Business School graduate, Ms. Kumar has worked with a number of leading Indian professionals to translate her extensive admissions and leadership development experience into a successful application to the right business school for her clients. Accepted to the Kellogg School of Management and the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business in addition to Harvard Business School, Ms. Kumar specializes in helping aspiring Indian applicants gain admissions to the world’s most prestigious academic institutions.

Since graduation, Ms. Kumar has advised Fortune 1000 companies on growth strategy and performance improvement as a Consultant at Bain & Company, a leading management consultancy. Her in-depth work in multiple industries, including Technology, Telecommunications, Manufacturing, Aerospace & Defense, Private Equity, Consumer Products and Non-Profit, allows her to leverage her clients' diverse backgrounds towards a successful application.

Prior to attending Harvard Business School, Ms. Kumar, already a #1 ranked Sales Executive at Intel Corporation, was a member of Intel Corporation’s exclusive executive leadership development program, charged with developing future company leaders. Her BS in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign allows her to appreciate and leverage the superior quantitative training of many leading Indian professionals.

Lisa Westlake

Ms. Westlake received her MBA from The Wharton School in 2001. She has spent the past 13 years, building an expertise in marketing brands and people.

While at Wharton, Ms. Westlake worked as career counselor in the Career Center providing resume building and editing services to current MBA students. She also served as a mock interviewer – interviewing over 300 students across a range of industries. Ms. Westlake was a Communications teaching assistant specializing in helping non-native English speakers with their oral and written presentation skills. As Marketing Director of the Wharton Hispanic American MBA Association, she provided admissions advice and essay reviews to Hispanic applicants.

After receiving her MBA, Ms. Westlake joined Monitor Group – a management consultancy -where she led projects focused on marketing and branding strategy for Fortune 100 companies. While leading a client project in South Africa, Ms. Westlake taught a university course on Business and Marketing Strategy at CIDA City Campus in Johannesburg, South Africa’s first non-profit higher education institution.
Ms. Westlake is CFO of Wharton Alumni Club of Los Angeles. She participated in the 2006 Wharton Alumni Leadership Conference and is a regular speaker at Wharton admissions events.

Ms. Westlake received her BA in Psychology from Cornell University and started her career in advertising and PR, working in the strategic marketing group of Ogilvy PR.
