I think the answer is B because in (a) we need to now "n" in order to know the median.netigen wrote:Ans is D

(B) in an equally distributed set median = mean so sufficient
(a)For instance: 15, 18, 21 -> median=18 and 15,18,21,24,27 -> median 21.
(b) mean 36 then n=1, R=(36)->median 36; n=3, R=(33,36,39) median 36; n=5, R=(31, 33, 36,39,42)-> median 36
