Hi Guys,
It is with sad emotions that I write this to you but I do hope that i receive some apt advice with regards to my GMAT score. I gave the GMA today and scored a dismal 570(45 in quant and 24 in verbal), my overall percentile is 57. With regards to the exams I was able to complete both exams on time with about 10 seconds to spare per exam. I also had a good notion that i was doing well but i guess was just getting too ahead of the game. I was not stressed at all and kept telling myself that ive been through worse situations before but even tha did not help to boost my score.
With regards to quant i pretty much solved every problme in the the OG 11 and the supplementary OG guide. I also bought the Kaplan 800 and solved all the problems there. ALso bought the Vertias prep book but to no avail. Did pretty much 50% of the tests from GMAT club as well with decent scores. I guess whatever I did, it wasnt enough or most likely i was doing it right. Is there any other prep material that anyone can suggest, in addition to the ones listed above, that will help boost my score?
WIth regards to the Verbal I followed the following books to the dot
- OG 11 plus supplementary OG
-MGMAT SC
-princeton review verbal
-kaplan 800.
- MGMAT - RC and CR guides.
Can anybody please recommend some good CAT exams in addition to powerep and GMATclub ones that will give me a good idea of my score. I gave the veritas one and belive me, i kid you not, I got a 780 in that free one. I had never been so happy before I saw that score. but of course the actual gmat exam proved me otherwise.
Any advise will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Also I am planning to apply to MBA schools in Canada, more specifically Ontario. Do you think I have a good chance with a score o 570 in the 57th percentile? Any frank opion will be appreciated.
Thanks.
