Hi,

Does anybody know whether schools contact employers with details from applications? I'm in the process of writing essays and naturally would prefer my employers not to read some content about long-term goals and the like. And I am going to get letters of recommendations from my superiors. If recommenders get to see my application content, I might be inclined to modify my essays a bit.

By the way, it's nothing serious, but I don't know if my post-MBA, long-term goals (5+ years) and my current employment necessarily align. I'd prefer my employer not reading that kind of thing.

dont worry about it.. besides, if your recommender already wrote a letter then its a done deal. What incentive would the admissions committee have in contacting your references? They dont even have the time.
