Maria Wich-VilaApplicantLab - MBA Admissions Consultant
Maria Wich-Vila is the founder of ApplicantLab.com, the only MBA admissions advice service endorsed by the Harvard Business School student newspaper. Maria began giving admissions advice while volunteering for the admissions office while getting her MBA at HBS.
Encouraged by her clients to transition to admissions consulting full-time, but dismayed by the high prices she would have to charge, she launched ApplicantLab.com, an interactive online platform that guides you step-by-step through everything you need to submit your strongest application possible.
ApplicantLab.com helps you identify your strengths and weaknesses, and teaches you how to uncover and convey your strongest stories in the application process, via essays, recommendations, resume, and interviews. It teaches you admissions secrets others want to charge you thousands for, and has helped candidates get into Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, and every other top school in the world.
ApplicantLab.com was named a "Top 10 Education Software Pioneer" by the SIIA; and it won the "Audience Favorite" vote at the regional HBS Alumni New Venture Competition. Most importantly, it has expanded access to world-class advice for deserving candidates from all income levels around the world. ApplicantLab.com is proud to partner with non-profits such as the Forte Foundation, Riordan Fellows, and others. Maria also serves on the Los Angeles board of Prospanica, and was formerly on the national board of AIGAC, the premier admissions consultants' organization.
