The 10 Best GMAT Stories of 2009 – Number 2

by Beat The GMAT, Dec 25, 2009

Countdown - Two!For ten days I will be highlighting the most popular GMAT debriefings of 2009 from the Beat The GMAT community, in countdown fashion.

The second most popular GMAT story this year was written by canada_sms: Waging War on the GMAT (760 - 99th percentile). canada_sms' approach to GMAT prep is unique in that he viewed his studies with a military mindset. Throughout his debrief he inserts interesting quotes from Sun Tzu, General Stonewall Jackson, and others:

"If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle."- Sun Tzu

I love the comparisons between GMAT prep and war strategy. Click here to read 'Waging War on the GMAT (760 - 99th percentile).'
