I've taken the GMAT twice and scored 640 on both tries. My first try was in 2005 and I can't find the score report, but my second try was in 2008 and the breakout is Quantitative: 41, Verbal: 38, AWA: 4.5. I'd like to apply to Langone Spring 2010. The application deadline is September 15. I'd much rather spend the next few months working on my application than to study for the GMAT all over again. What are my chances of getting into Langone with my current GMAT score?
Undergrad is as follows:
Freshman Year, SUNY Buffalo, GPA: 3.9
Remaining 3 years at NYU CAS Economics major and double minor in Sociology and East Asian Studies, GPA: 3.57
Studied abroad in Beijing for a summer with Princeton University, GPA: 3.8
Took two accounting courses in 2005 at NYU SCPS, GPA: 4.0
Total work experience: 7 years (3 at UnitedHealth Group and 4 at Credit Suisse)
I've also noticed on the NYU website that they are still accepting Fall 2009 applicants. Are my chances better if I try to get in my application in for Fall 2009 or Spring 2010?
I am a 27 year old asian female.
Your help is much appreciated, thanks!
