I am a 30 year old female. I will be applying to MBA schools this year and will be 31 at matriculation.
I am currently an engineer working in the silicon valley. I would like to break into equity research and other finance type roles post-mba.

At my age is it realistic to make such a career change. Should I take the CFA exams? Would they help?
