i am planing for giving GMAT in 2013 want to go for haward,stanford,kellog,Lsb,wharton . can anyone evaluate my profile and make me know where i stand in the crowd. what score in GMAT can make me competitive. as i still have a year for my application, what more i can do to make my profile strong

Thanks for posting here!

Now, I won't lie to you dude. For the schools you propose here, you are gonna have a BATTLE in front of you. The GREAT thing though is your LEADERSHIP. And in a very nice industry. This is critical. Because even if you come from a tough and large pool (which you do), you have a LOT of leadership and this is super rare. So you gotta push this home time and again in your resume essays, etc.... you are not "another Indian in banking", but you are "RJ, the banking LEADER" :)

That is your key, man.
that, and of course getting an amazing GMAT, and having amazing essays, and resume and recommendations.
Easy as pie, yeah?
