by sq720 » Sat Jun 13, 2009 12:13 pm
I have problems with question such as " Which of the following most logically completes the argument below?"

IS there a strategy that i should apply? there is not much on these types of questions in the powerscore bible.

any help will be appreciated :)

Most of the times this asks you to find the conclusion.

I would like to add just 2 pointers on this type of question:

1. The answer choice need not the be most feasible (atleast in your opinion) conclusion to the issue at hand. Base the answer on the evidence or reasoning given in the argument.

2. Make sure the answer choice you select includes all the reasonings/considerations/evidences etc that are provided in the argument. If the an answer choice is open ended in reference to one of the two evidences, then its wrong.

Eg: Mr.Consultant says that the company would profit only if it utilizes X and Y. He concludes that the company will not make any profit in the next year because.......

Here select the answer choice where takes into account both the X and Y parameters, or a situation where both and X and Y cannot happen.

Hope this helped..
