Hi Ashish,

Have you checked the rankings in the business school rankings thread https://www.beatthegmat.com/viewtopic.php?t=3265 ?

It looks like Weatherhead (Case Western) does not make the Forbes or Business Week lists. In the Economist 2006 rankings, it was #97. On the Financial Times rankings, it has slipped in the last three years from #49 to #82.

You might want to see if you can find out why it has slipped this much in the rankings. What is the school doing differently now than they were doing three years ago?

Like many things, this comes down to what you are looking for in an MBA program and what you want to do afterwards.

Good luck,

Thanks Seema,

I did some research and figured out that a couple of years back, their dean left case western and joined temple (Fox) Another guy joined but only stayed on for an year.

So last year they appointed a senior faculty member as the dean and this guy is trying hard to get Case back up in the rankings.

Also Ohio's economy has gone on the downward spiral after the mortgage fiasco.

So Case's record has also worsened.
