You really dont have to work in bank. given that post wont be of managerial. & i am sure even if you get into some good foreign or private bank (like HDFC/ ICICI ABN Amb) you wont get ^that kind of job^ for atleast 2-3 years.
Being in Mumbai you can join any Stats survey company.

You need more work ex to think about b-school.
but again i may say it's quality before quantity.
Quality always wins over quantity..
most of B-schools arguably dont have any cutoffs as such.

**ensure you worked in team.

finally i cant say about top bschools.
bus YES. for 25-50. you can make it.

i can see you can score good at GMAT.
prepare well.
with good score in GMAT you can get into any mediocre b-school.

You wont realise how important it is for MBA app consultants like Ms.Stacy to learn / understand as much as possible about Indian environment.

you come from very competitive pool of applicants...so dont think that your profile will be unique.
