I never took my kaplan classes seriously. I worked for about 35days all together and gave my GMAT on the 31st of july. I ended up with a 600. I was dissapointed. Prior to my exam on the 31st of july,2008, I gave 4 Mc.graw Hill's Gmat tests (CAT). In my first test i got a 600. In the second test I got a 640. In the third test I got a 660 and in the 4th test I got a 670. I do need to make a confession over here. I never tried the power prep.I tried my best to get the power prep CD but couldnt manage to get it. My father was devastated. But he couldnt see me upset. He said I would do very good on my second attempt. The first time when I gave my GMAT (31st july,2008), I had just 1 month to prepare. During those 35 days, I completed the following books:
1) OG-QUANTS;
2)OG-VERBAL;
3)OG-11th edition;
4)KAPLAN COURSE BOOK;
5)KAPLAN 800.
I did not know about "beatthegmat.org" then. Now though I do. I am willing to give it my all. I am willing to work as much as anyone can and most importantly willing to learn from my mistakes.
GMAT-600(Q48,V23, AWA 5.5)
I always did very well in verbal. I was shocked to see my verbal score. I was always confident of doing good in verbal. But on the day I wrote my exam I guess the nerves got the better of me. I am requesting the members who have won over the GMAT to help me realise my dream of getting a 730 in the GMAT. This time I want to make my dad proud. Want him to smile. Want you guys to help me. I would be very glad if you could provide me with a plan and also list out the "most essential" of things to be done while preparing for the GMAT. Please help me.
