I'm not sure what type of full-time job you have, but, I think it would be incredibly difficult to make the most of business school and still do a respectable job at work. A full-time MBA is much more time consuming than college. Between classes, homework, project/study groups, company presentations, recruiting, etc. it is at least a 40-50 hr per week job (and this doesn't include time "networking" with your peers and building relationships!). And, it can't be neatly scheduled into a 8-6 time frame (study groups will meet at night and on weekends, company presentations are usually in the evening).
You may read this and think "okay, 40 hours a week of school plus 40 hours a week of work, that's only 80 hours - investment bankers do that all the time...." - well, I guess it could be possible, I just don't think you'd be able to do either thing well. If you have a fantastic job that you are reluctant to give up, I'd consider a part-time program or an executive MBA.
I went to Booth, there were a few people who still worked on consulting projects or "start-ups" (their own ventures) a few hours a week. But, these were not traditional full-time jobs - much more project based, etc.
Full-time MBA & full-time job at the same time
