Hi MS. Stacy Blackman,
I see that your doing a lot of peer evaluations and was hoping you coudl take a look at my credentials and give me some feedback
I just graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelors of Commerce in Finance and Economics, with distinction and a CGPA of 3.43/5
I am looking to apply for a MSc in Finance program at the following: universities:
HEC Paris
LSE
IE Business School, University of Navarra
Oxford
Cass Business School
My main motivation is that the undergrad program at UT focused mostly on accounting with little emphasis on finance or strategy courses. I'm hoping I can gain enough finance skills to pursue a career in management consulting.
For my profile:
I haven't taken GMAT yet but so far I'm scoring quite high on the GMAt prep software 660 (Q40, V45). My GPA is 3.43/5. I am fluent in English (native speaker) and Arabic. I have 8 months of internship experience with Deloitte & Touche as a Staff Accountant.
I am actively involved in extracurriculars including starting my programs Management Consulting Association, Rower with my Programs Rowing Team, attended several international case competitions and conferences at Harvard, University of Emory and York university and I mentor incoming University of Toronto Students.
I had one kind of important question:
I have a CGPA of 3.43 which is just 0.7 from graduating with high distinction is that I should be concerned about?
thanks for taking the time to look at my profile!
Mulhim
