Hi Linda,
I have a 3.3 GPA from a top 20 US undergrad school, a 660 on my GMAT with a Verbal 91/ Quant 61 split. I have 5+ years of international work experience as an entrepreneur, and have strong leadership and business experience. I wanted to get some feedback on my chances for INSEAD and Columbia for J-term.
I feel INSEAD is a great fit for me given my international business experience, vast travels to North and South American and Europe for work, and its 1-year appeal since I am in a family business and wish to gain the tools to grow my business without having to be away from work for too long.
I feel Columbia is great because their J-term program focuses on people like me who will return to their family business and want to get in and out of school in a shorter period of time.
Given my different profile of international business/family business/strong leadership skills, will a GMAT of 660 be adequate and overall do you think I have a good chance of getting accepted at both these schools?
Thank you in advance for your reply.
