Visiting Duke

by dmateer25 » Tue Apr 27, 2010 9:14 am
I am going to be visiting Duke on Thursday (April 29th). I am going to spend the weekend in the area. Anyone have any recommendations on what to check out/do?

Went there for undergrad. If you can afford it I would recommend staying at the Washington Duke Inn. Great golf course. Other than that. I would say check out the Duke Gardens. But truthfully, there is nothing to do in Durham. You can go to bars, but that is about it.

Thanks. What about in the triangle area or downtown Raleigh?

Any good hiking areas or trails?

Check out Umstead Park(in Raleigh) and the Duke Forrest.
