Ruchi,

I think you have an excellent shot in that your grades are strong and your GMAT score is only slightly below the average GMAT at ISB of a 711. If you were scoring higher on your practice exams you might consider retaking the test as even only a 20 point improvement moves your percentage substantially as your GMAT would then be above the average.

Good luck and have a great weekend,

Ruchi,

I have a slightly different take on this. Even if you hypothetically had a 720 GMAT, it may not make a huge difference in my opinion. The point that you have to think deep on is - how will you differentiate from those (maybe from your own company) with say 1-3 years more experience than you in the same domain? If you can answer that well AND show a logical post-MBA goal, then the story may hold. Moreover, given the time, a re-take may not be feasible? So make sure you decide wisely

Ruchi,

It is good to have different perspectives. ISB's Class of 2015 had a Mean GMAT of 711 and Average Work Experience of 5 Years with a Mid 80% Range of 2.8 - 7.5.

So, with your 3.2 years experience you still have sufficient work experience and considering you have been the youngest team lead, I think you can show sufficient maturity for your age and differentiation from those applicants with a little more experience. Also, the figure is reported upon matriculation so your 3.2 years experience might be more.

As long as you prepare a quality application, if you are not admitted because of less experience, you can always reapply in the future without lessening your chances.

Have a great weekend,
