E can be ruled out on two reasons.. One because of the usage of Lower which is a verb.. also were's usage doesn't intend same meaning as rose's
they rose.. so they did is parellel with it..
guys, could someone please elaborate here about the usages of "low" and "lower"? when to use which and where? please!!
