x and y are positive integers. For some natural number n, is (x ^ n + y ^ n)/(x + y) an integer?
(1) (x ^ 3 + y ^ 3)/(x + y) is an integer.
(2) (x ^ 4 + y ^ 4)/(x + y) is not an integer.
(1) (x ^ 3 + y ^ 3)/(x + y) is an integer.
(2) (x ^ 4 + y ^ 4)/(x + y) is not an integer.
