hi,

Just few days back started preparation. can you please help?

If b= 0. cdef where c, d, e, f represent non zero digits, what is b?
1,000 ×b is divisible by 4,938
c>d>e>f and f=6

(1)Statement (1) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (2) alone is not sufficient.
(2)Statement (2) ALONG is sufficient, but statement (1) alone is not sufficient
(3)BOTH statements TOGETHER are sufficient, but NEITHER statement ALONE is sufficient.
(4)EACH statement ALONE is sufficient
(5)Statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are NOT sufficient to answer the question asked, and additional data are needed

Hi Smrithi,
Given: B = 0.cdef
To Find: B ?
To find B we need to know what is the value of c,d,e and f are.

Statement 1: 1,0000*b is divisible by 4,938(I guess you missed one more ZERO it should be 10,000)

So, 10000*B = cdef
statement says, cdef is divisible by 4938
so CDEF can be 4938 or 9876(2*4938)
Since we are getting two different values.
Statement 1 is Insufficient.

Statement 2: c>d>e>f and f=6
Sine F = 6
it should be cde6 and,
c>d>e>f
it should be 9876. No other number is possible.

Hence Sufficient.

Answer is B
