Confused 710 (Q50 V 36)

I just got 710 in GMAT

. Not a very good score just average i guess and am confused where to apply.

Just for the records my scores in Practice tests were.
Manhattan1 660
Manhattan2 680
Manhattan3 700
Manhattan4 710
Manhattan5 660
Manhattan6 730
GMAT Prep1 710
GMAT Prep2 740
Princeton1 680
Princeton2 700
Princeton3 710
Princeton4 640

So i guess i got the average of what i was getting.

Can people guide if i can apply to:
MIT Sloan
Stern
UCLA
ISB

as i have a 2+ yesrs work experience in IT and am from engineering background.

I think you are fine. Maybe verbal could have been a 37 but I think 710 is more than enough to get you looked at for MIT etc. And getting looked at is the least you can ask for. The only problem is that your demographic (Indian + engineering + IT) might work against you coz that demographic usually scores very high on the GMAT. Still, if there is something that distinguishes you from the rest (leadership, community service etc.), 710 is more than enough.

Do you have leadership experience at work and outside of work? Focus on that and not the GMAT score. You've crossed the GMAT competency threshold. Now you must cross the leadership and community development threshold.
