Hey everyone, new to the forum and it's been a looong time since I've done math, so though I know this is easy, I just can't figure it out!

If 3,750 2-door sedans were sold in 1999, then how many 4-door sedans were sold in 1999 by XYZ Auto Company?

From the chart, we know that 2-door sedans made up 25% and 4-door sedans made up 33% of the total.

There are a number of ratios we could set up, but we could also just solve for the total.

3750 = 1/4(total)
total = 4 * 3750
total = 15000

#4 door sedans = 33%(total)
rounding off, 1/3 (33.3%) of the total would be 5000, so 33% should be just under 5000: choose (b).
