Hi guys,
Well i am a student at ESCP Europe currently and going through the posts i could not help but notice the confusion regarding the schools to target. Having been studying in this amazing course for over a year now, i have seen both the good and the bad side of it. I have to say though, that the good far outweighs the bad.
There have been a lot of questions about what are the job prospects after completing the degree, well the answer to that depends on 2 major things,
1) The reputation of the school you studied at: You really cant go wrong if you apply to the top ranked schools of the MiM, most of these schools are very reputed and are the best in their respective countries. As a result a number of prime companies come and recruit from them in all sectors ranking from Consulting & Finance to Marketing & Operations. Problems usually occur when students apply to relatively lower ranked schools which have difficulties placing international students mainly because of work permit & language issues. This brings us to the second thing
2)Your profile: Your work does not end with joining the college, you really need to work like crazy if you want to secure your chances in a good company. The job market is becoming really tough, and you need to differentiate yourself to survive. This is especially true if you are targeting the tier 1 firms. An important tip here is, learn the language of the country you are in. This will amplify your chances of getting a job 3X.
One more thing to watch out for is the work permit laws. Countries such as the UK have really stringent immigration laws, so that may limit your chances of finding work after graduation.
Hope the answer helped.
You can find much more information about the MiM at https://www.mim-essay.com/mim-home.html , it is a site by Masters in Management students offering detailed information about the degree & application consulting services.
Regards,

I graduated this year in May 2015. I want to ask if I am eligible for "MS in Management Studies" program at Kellogg School of Management for admissions in Fall 2016. I have been working full time from July 2015. I checked their page but it was not clear enough to me. Kindly, someone clear my query.

You will be eligible. The eligibility requirement is to complete your degree in the current year (or the next) and all applicants completing their degrees in May 2015 (inclusive) and thereafter are fine to apply.
Also look at the other prerequisites in terms of courses required before matriculating for the program at this link from the Kellogg website: https://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/pro ... sions.aspx

Also, for anybody else reading this thread, always check with the school about prerequisites. In some cases, depending on the school and program, exceptions can be made. In other cases, the rules are more ironclad.
Good luck,
Good luck,

Hey rahuljain1994,
Since you are looking for Masters in Management programs, you can consider applying to some of the top MiM schools in Europe. Some very good schools such as University of St.Gallen, HEC Paris, ESCP, LBS, RSM, ESSEC, ESADE, WHU, IE etc.
The programs of St.Gallen, RSM and WHU require a business background, which you have. The other schools take students from all disciplines. These schools have consistently been ranked as those that offer the best Masters in Management by the Financial Times over the past couple of years. You can check out the entire list here:

You can check the website for individual school reviews, application insights etc.

Can Indian Applicants Aim for Scholarships at Top MiM programs?
MiM scholarships, or scholarships for Master in Management programs, are highly sought after by each applicant to these early career management programs. With most top MiM programs in Europe (although some top schools in the US, such as Kellogg, and Ross, are also catching up), a majority of applicants looking for early career options have their sights set on not just admissions, but also scholarships in Euros! This post discusses some of the criteria that top management programs use to award scholarships and also highlights a success story of Vishal Sanduja, a GyanOne client who won a EUR 20,000 scholarship to ESSEC and an admit to the HEC MiM too. Vishal joins multiple GyanOne clients who have made it to top MiM programs in the past.
MiM essays and their role in scholarships
The fact that MiM essays play a big role in earning scholarships is not a secret from most MiM applicants. However, MiM applicants also need to exhibit greater achievement based on fewer experiences as compared to their MBA applicant counterparts, because the huge factor of work experience is absent or restricted largely to internships. Work achievements therefore play hardly a role. Further, most MiM applicants bring in achievements that are not very different in nature (the college experience provides for similar opportunities), and therefore differentiating oneself is very important. MiM applicants also need to enunciate career goals with greater clarity, because their statements of the future are not based on exhibited professional achievement, but an extension (and often a change) of what they have studied.
