D and E have modifier issues. The main clause must start with Ezra Pound.

Option B is using "considered...as..", which considered wrong on GMAT.

Option A is incorrectly using "considered that". Plus, "and" in A doesn't help in conveying the intended contrast.

Consider must directly be followed by the sentence.

Pick C.
