Hi,
I have Iranian/Canadian citizenship. I wan to apply to top 5 US schools. I am not sure which one of these countries should I list in my application.
Some suggest that since B-schools are looking for diversity, it would be better to just list Iran as country of citizenship to have unique profile (not may Persians apply to B-schools). On the other hand, one of my friends who is HBS alumni suggests that it would be better to have both citizenships on application.
To make it more complicated, some of my friends tell me that given all of the political adversity between US & Iran, I would be better off not mentioning Iran at all!!! (Of course, since I got my under grad from Iran, it would be on my resume anyway)
Could you please advise?
Thank you,
Poya
