I am new to this site and hence would wish the very best to all its members.

I aspire to do my PhD in B2B marketing.

I have about 11 years of sales experience in India. In my first attempt, I could only manage a score of 630 in GMAT and a 105 in TOEFL(IBT).

I applied to Smeal, UW-Wisconsin, Texas A&M and Georgia State(Terry). Barring the last, have had rejection from all three.

Hence, decide to retake GMAT only(assuming my TOEFL score is acceptable).

I have the following queries:

1. Suggestions on schools for research in B2B marketing?
2. Is there a GMAT score wise ranking of schools(interested in B2B marketing only)...I know that there might not be an straight answer to this?
3. Is there a way to find out the reason for rejection..SOP, poor GMAT or age(presently I am 38)?
4. Suggestions on schools outside US

Further would love to connect with people who have had unfortunate rejections this year so far and thinking of having another shot.
