I am retaking the GMAT in less than a week and I am freaking out!
The CR part of the Verbal section is for me the hardest part to overcome.
I've scored 33 in my last official GMAT (which was a good improvement on my first 16 Verbal score - horrible yes I know) and since then whenever I take practice tests my score fluctuates between 33 and 23.
I've studied in the official guide and got most of the CR questions right (and if I got them wrong I understood why I got them wrong). I used the Veritas prep books too, as well as Magoosh online.
But whenever I am faced with CR questions in the GMAT prep, I feel like I am reading gibberish and just can't make sense of what I am reading. It's as if the lingo on the actual test (and the gmat prep test) is much harder.
What is it that I am doing wrong? or not doing right?
Just a note: I am not looking to score more than 650. and I would be totally satisfied with a 620 at this point.
