I need help in some issues
1. The amount of water and salt is increasing
2. The amount of both water and salt continue to increase
Which one is correct and why?

percentage is singular or plural?
5% of 100 men is singular or plural ?

Three cats ,each of which eats......
Three cats ,each eat.....
which one is correct and why?

Usage of each and every .In which case we should use each and every ?

1. The amount of water and salt is increasing : Not right, Parallelism issue (Amount with salt)
2. The amount of both water and salt continue to increase : Seems good but I need complete sentence to ratify

5% of 100 men is singular or plural ? %age is always singular

Three cats ,each of which eats...... Sounds awkwards
Three cats ,each eat..... I would say "Thee cats, they each....Again this depends on the sentence.
which one is correct and why?

Amount is used for uncountable nouns.

"The" amount is singular.

"An" amount is plural.

1. is fine if you mean a mixture of water/salt.
2. The verb should be "continues"

Percentage is singular. x% of y IS

"Every" refers to a group, while "each" refers to things individually. Some examples: https://www.eslmonster.com/article/each-and-every
