Request you to analyse my profile. I am applying to top B-schools in the first round, please suggest what kind of schools might be a good fit.
I did my major in Comp science and engineering
GMAT -- 710(Q 48,V40)
GPA--3.4/4.0
work experience--3 years (1 years with an leading IT firm and 2 year with an goverment organisation [teach for india] ).
extra cocurricular--
..Cultural secreatary during college .
..Active in the college community and during school
..excellent at sports.
..NSS secreatary during college.
...school captain during school.
..have led cricket teams at both school and college level.
Social service-
.organise blood donation camp.
..working with NGO.
..also working with orphanage since 1 years.
..tree plantation
I have my 2 year work exp. in TFI(teach for india).it is also a social service.In this i have to teach student of rural area for 2 years full time. It is a govt. organisation and tie up with top univ. like stanford gsb,harvard business school,princeton ,ISB.
it is same as teach for america.
have strong recommendations from TFI alum.
Looking at my profile, what are the chances that i can get through an MBA prgm of any b-school from the top 15-20 b-schools?
Is there any chance for stanford,harvard.beacause my organisation has tie-up with these univ.or i have to retake GMAT.
