Which of the folowing is correct

Neither the judge nor i am able to decide who the winner is.


Neither the judge nor i am able to decide who is the winner .

Help is appreciated

The First is Correct.

Break the second one down.

The Judge is able to decide. who is the winner? Sentence and Question combined?

I am able to decide. who is the winner? Same.

Verses

The Judge is able to decide. who the winner is (The latter cannot stand on its own. must be linked with the first part. Since the verb follows the object we say it is a predicate objective.
