x meters/sec = y km/hr, 1km=1000 meters

you can covert either x or y, your choice.

Convert Y

y = 1km/1 hr

1km = 1000 meters

1 meter = 1/1000 kms

1hr = 60*60 secs

1 sec = 1/3600 sec

Here is simple way of doing this problem, without leaving any room for silly mistakes

y = [1/1000] / [1/3600]

cross multiply

y[1/3600] / [1/1000] = y's speed in meter/sec

y * 1000 / 3600 = y*5/18

x=y*5/18

y = 18x/5

Hence C

Let me know if you have any doubts.

Whats the OA? I am pretty sure this correct, i'll be really surprised if A turns out to be the answer.
