I heard that the GMAT will accept an answer on last question without physically clicking "submit". Is this true?

If so, and assuming I can finish early ...I was thinking that in order to extend my break between essays and Quant and/or Quant and Verbal I would select the answer for the last q and let the test time-out. Giving me some extra valuable mins of rest before continuing.

Anyone know the GMAT policy on this last question piece?

Thanks

I tested this on the Manhattan exam once and it definitely did not register my entry. Given that your break time begins as soon as the screen appears and ends as soon as you sit in your chair I would imagine that they would not want people to do what you planned.

However, I finished very early on my essays. So I sat in the chair and prepared myself for math. I wrote down some charts (even/odd & positive/negative), the primes, the perfect squares, etc. I figured it would be best to be productive in that time.

The "Breaks" on the GMAT are quite comical. You aren't allowed a watch, my test center hand an analog clock without a second hand, and the admin would not tell us the time. So I setup a routine that I knew took 5 minutes and prepared myself for that to be my break.

Thanks - I'm aware of MGMAT's policy on this but I don't think it mirrors that of the GMATs. I could be wrong though.

Anyone know the GMAC policy of leaving the last question selected on GMAT?

I'm not planning on "zooming" through any portion, but it would be nice to get some time in case I finish essay/quant early.

Thanks
