From the material I have seen for GRE, there is little connection in verbal.
Differences:
GRE: Words, words and more words
GMAT: Sentence correction and critical reasoning.

Similarities:
Reading comp (dunno which is tougher)

Quant:
GRE is easy.

GMAT is alittle more on the tougher side. Still easy for a 800Q person like you.
Data sufficiency is the big difference.

So it is up to you to judge the difference.

m just curious. why are you taking both tests?
