Data sufficiency: Questions 96,97,129,127,132,151,162,174

Please explain the solutions in OG 13 and any alternative easier solutions you can provide.

Please post only one question per thread. Otherwise things can become pretty complicated when there are discussions on multiple questions.

Also, be sure to post the actual question. Not everyone has a copy of the OG13.

Finally, post your questions in either the Problem Solving forum or the Data Sufficiency forum.
