Feedback on my preparation

by mtvmty » Mon Jun 09, 2008 9:24 pm
I started with Kaplan Diagnostic scoring 630, now I am solving Kaplan Questions provided in its book. Here is my score:
CR: 60%
SC:70%
RC:70%
PS:95%
DS:80%
I am a bit worried about my Verbal part, I solve questions confidently and then find out that 30% are wrong. In my analysis, I have noticed I mess up b/w two close choices.

I will go through Kaplan 800 after this and then will start OG (simulated test in between) and then Actual Test.

Two questions--
Is it fine to solve Kaplan 800 before OG?
What I need to do with Verbal?

Practice is all I need.

No one answered, did I ask in the wrong section OR is it a wrong question?

Kaplan 800 will not help as much as OG11. You should delay Kaplan 800 to the point where you feel pretty confident with your results.

Thanks for your feedback, I thought once I finish all hard material to develope an understanding, I can use OG11 to enhance my speed just before the actual test.

I will consider your thought. Thanks again. :)

Keep in mind that GMAT is written by ETS not by KAPLAN, Princeton and others. So I suggest practice as much as you can using old test papers questions by ETS.

Hope this helps.
