Hi,

I intend to take my first diagnostic in a day or so to begin my gmat study.

1. Should I do the essay + IR or skip any one of them? (I intend to do one of 'em to get an estimate of my stamina)

2. Is it better to use the MGMAT Test or official GMAT Prep?

3. Timed or untimed?

Thanks.

1.If you are trying to get an estimate of your stamina, what is the problem in trying with strict official conditions ? Skipping one of the section would inflate your verbal score.

2.MGMAT tests are good, but GMATPrep would be better to get a baseline score from which you can hone your preparation from the beginning. After that you can use MGMAT tests to identify your strong and weak topics.

3.Untimed tests are of no use. Hope this helps !!
Getting defeated is just a temporary notion, giving it up is what makes it permanent.
