Please rate my Essay - ARGUMENT

"Your vacation resort can ill afford not to publicize its offerings on Travelshock.com. Our readership has more than doubled in the past year alone and is dominated by savvy consumers with large disposable incomes. Witness the experience of Snowbert Ski Lodge. Since it began advertising on our website a year ago, it is regularly booked to capacity and its annual profits have increased more than threefold from the previous year."

~~~~SOLUTION~~~~
The author concludes that the profits of Snowbert Ski Lodge has witnessed an increase in its annual profits by more than threefold from the previous year because of advertisements placed on travelshack.com, which is responsible for the same. The author's line of reasoning is that only advertisements and no other factors are valid for the increase in booking made and thereby resulting in increased revenues. This argument is unconvincing for several reasons, it is assuming that since the resort started advertising on the company websites a year ago, it is regularly booked and it uses only readership which has more than doubled as the dominant factor.
First of all, an increase in bookings made for the resort only by seeing advertisement on the website by primarily savvy customers is based on the questionable assumption that mostly savvy customers are the resorts customers and the only factor is that increase in readership of the website also increased viewership of the advertisement.
That no other factor is responsible for the increased bookings made at the resort.
However, the assumption is seriously flawed as Bulgaria has been in focus by the state to promote Pamporovo as a tourist destination for the Europeans as it isn't far away. Many ski resorts thus have been built over the past three years at Pamporovo and the state has taken into consideration safety measures that are of primary importance to most tourists. Ski resorts are very few in number even in London, and thereby now days a holiday suggestion contains ski resorts as top of the list.
Secondly the author assumes that only Snowbert Ski Lodge has more than doubled its profits and is regularly booked to capacity. It seems equally reasonable to assume that other ski resorts built in Pamporovo are also booked to capacity, and probably tourists who don't get booking at thier choice of resort look for a nearby alternative and thus make their bookings at Snowbert Ski Lodge. As this location has been of recent invention to the tourist attraction, it does frequent the mind of anyone wishing a holiday. It also generates interest of those looking for a weekend get away and many tourist like to get outskirts away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and have a quiet, sporty and exciting weekend.
Finally inspite of all supportive assumptions being true the conclusion might still not be valid. The author fails to consider the enhancements provided by the state, other websites viewership, as well as the websites where the bookings are made. For example, tourists rarely look up alternative websites as they are used to looking up Expedia.com which contains all the information they need and also helps them from starting their journey, booking the room at the resort, planning out their days activities while making booking for skiing as well as arranging the transport of choice as per the customer.
In sum, the author's illogical argument is based on unsupported premises and unsubstantiated assumptions that render his conclusion invalid. The author would have to largely restructure his argument, fix the flaws in his logic, clearly explicate his assumptions, and provide evidentiary support. Without these things, his poorly reasoned argument will likely convince few people.
