I don't think anybody knows for sure--your score depends on which questions you miss, not just on how many you miss. I missed four questions on a GMATPrep test once, and my score was (surprisingly) still a 51... I would imagine that you could get somewhere between four and ten questions wrong and still get a 50 (depending on which questions you miss), but that's just an educated guess.

i am managing 2 get the first 10-12 questions right thereafter a few wrong ...
roughly how many questions come from probability n combinations ??

Answering first 10-12 qns right is just a myth. For evidence, you can search for Eric's article in BTG.kc.q8ii wrote:i am managing 2 get the first 10-12 questions right thereafter a few wrong ...

Reg P&C, i'm hearing that people are getting 2-4 qns these days. When i wrote last July, i didn't get a single question on these topics. The trend is changing now. I guess the test makers are looking forward to test the candidates in these topics more often now.
As stated above, it depends on the difficult of the questions. But something between 6 and 9 questions can give you a 50.kc.q8ii wrote:how many questions maximum can i get wrong n still score a 50???
