If y is 80 percent greater than x, then x is what percent less than y?

(A) 20
(B) 25
(C) 33 1/3
(D) 44 4/9

Let y = 180 and x = 100.

So 180-100/180 = 80/180 = 44 4/9 D

If x = 100a
y = 180a

(180-100)a/180a = 400/9 = 44 4/9
