2012 Fall Dream Over !

by bvikI-II123 » Thu Nov 03, 2011 11:11 am
I appeared for GMAT Today and scored a disappointing 670 . The disappointment compounded more so because of an unexpected Verbal Score . The Score breakage is Q51 , V 29. Though i wasn't that confident with the Verbal section in comparison to Quant , such an abysmal score was least expected.

Though i always try to search for answers within me , i feel propelled to share this on the forum and look for answers from other's experience - people who had similar experiences and went on to score a great score later on . I am getting a feeling of helplessness as dream of getting into B School of Fall 2012 seems to be over now .

My Practice MGMAT Scores are
MGMAT 6 - 730 (51,39)
MGMAT 5 - 750 (51,41)
MGMAT 4 - 730 (50,39)
MGMAT 3 - 710 (51,36)
MGMAT 2 - 700 (49,36)
MGMAT 1 - 690 (49,35)
GMAT Prep 1 - 730
GMAT Prep 2 - 740

I exhausted the following resources
OG 11
OG 12
OG Review 2nd Edition Verbal and Quantitative
Manhattan GMAT SC
Manhattan GMAT RC
Veritas Prep RC
Kaplan GMAT Premier 2010 - 2011
Kaplan GMAT Verbal

Don't know what to do . Absolutely Clueless!!!! I feel demotivated and getting the feeling of not being good enough . Tough time looms ahead .

Ciao!

Chase that damn Dream, don't follow it.

I know how it feels!

Unwind, spend some time with friends and family - give it a 3 week break and then come back and prepare for a month and give the exam again. You will surely do well. It is important you take a break now.

All the best!!!
A kudos or thanks would do great if my answer has helped you :)

I understand your pain. It feels like hell.

But you would have noticed that it was just bad luck.

You need to make forget the things, their impacts, your dreams for at least 3-4 days.

Go and do something else.

Come back and then we will talk.
