GMAT/Langone (Stern PT) question

by JimmyShaz » Wed Apr 27, 2011 4:44 pm
Hello. I recently scored 660 on the GMAT (and 7.0 on the AWA) and I'm wondering if that's decent enough to apply for the NYU Stern PT program (Langone), or whether I need to do the test again in order to achieve a higher score. I think I look pretty good on paper -- I work in online media and have a master's degree from Columbia and 10+ years of professional work experience. Thanks in advance for your advice!

The middle 80% is 620-730, so your 660 shouldn't be a an issue, although I assume the 7.0 on the AWA is a typo since it's scaled from 0-6? Assuming you have solid work experience like you said (10+ years in online media), it really comes down to how well you execute your written application and interviews, as well as a bit of luck as well.
