Can we factorize decimal numbers?
Eg: what are the factors of 1.5? I would start the question by writing 1.5 as 15/10. factors of 15=1,3,5,15 and factors of 10=1,2,5,10. How to proceed now? I know this might be a very silly question, but I just could not push it aside...

For the sake of 'factorization', we can do so.
But it has no practical point as any fraction(or decimal) can be a factor of any other factor(or decimal).

This is because we can express any fraction as the product of any other two or more fractions.
