What is the value of X, if X and Y are two distinct integers and their product is 30?
1. X is an odd integer

1. X is an odd integer
2. X > Y
1. Is not sufficient X is can have different values such as 1, 15 or 5
2 X>Y not sufficient x =6 y= 5 and x =15 and 2 both have product as 30

Combined also not sufficient

x= -5 y = -6 satisfies both conditions
so does x = 15 and y =2

Using st 1 alone we cannot find the 2 distinct integers..

X can be 5 or 15

Using statement 2 alone also we can't find the 2 distinct integers..

X can be 10 or 15

But using both the statements also we wont get the 2 distinct integers

X= 15 & y=2

X=-5 & y=-6( Initially I forgot to look for negative integers.... I need to be extra careful)

C
What about negative numbers x= -5 and y = -6
